It snowed last night.
Not a great deal but that did not stop DD from throwing on her snow gear over her pyjamas and bolting into the garden as soon as she woke up.
Of course George the cat had to follow.
It’s been too cold recently to go outside and play so the swingset definitely got a look in…
As did the slide Papa R made her for her birthday
Even George had to have a go… but from the wrong side
After that he seemed content just to lick the cold slide. I swear that cat thinks he’s human!
The trampoline, with it’s prestine sprinkling of snow had to be all shook up a bit
This is the look I got when I asked if we could go inside for some breakfast. I was desperate for coffee!
And a teeny tiny snowman just had to be built
There was even some running up and down the yard singing, ‘Let it go!’ on the top of her voice. The neighbours probably weren’t too impressed.
The next morning we had, you guessed it, more snow!
Papa R got involved whilst taking a break from home renovations to go sledging.
I just hope it snows a proper amount soon so we can have a proper snow day with the neighbours kids coming over to play and drink hot chocolate and breakfast muffins. I’ve got a recipe all planned out… just in case!
