Today at Camp Funshine we visited the local library. We’ve joined the Summer Reading Challenge and need to read 6 books throughout the school summer holidays. DD’s read two already so we needed to go swap our books out today.
On the way back we stopped in at the East Surrey Museum where they have a great children’s interactive section. They have a box of old hats from around the world from different times and even a box of toys from byegone eras. DD particularly enjoyed typing on the old fashioned typewriter and looking at the old slides.
Then it was a quick trip to Morrisons for some groceries and back home for lunch. DD wants to play with some of the gifts she got for her birthday so that’ll be our afternoon sorted.
What are you up to today?
